At Busch Gardens Tampa, you will find a number of animal shows, attractions, rides, tours and special experiences. The Busch Gardens Tampa Theme Park will remain open for extended hours during the summer. As the theme park completes 50 years, join in for the celebrations all this summer.

Animal attractions

There are a number of animal attractions that you can see when you purchase the Busch Gardens Tampa Theme Park tickets. Jungala is a 4 acre area that ahs been done up as a lush tropical forest where you can view the Bengal Tiger and other exotic animals.

At the Bird Garden, you can see and hear over 500 tropical birds that are residents here from around the world. While at the Rhino Rally, you can take a jeep tour and look at the various exotic animals such as Rhino really up close. While at Serengeti Plain, enjoy the landscape and the waterfalls while you take a truck tour or the Skyride and see such African animals such as the Zebra.

Rides

Visitors to this Tampa theme park can also enjoy a number of rides. Ride the Shiekra roller coaster, that has a 200-foot climb and then a 90-degree drop down, but not before it has completed an Immelmann loop. Cheetah Chase is another ride that is very popular with the kids. A Congo River rapid is a white water rafting experience down the river where the entire family can have lots of fun.

Other attractions

Other attractions at Busch Gardens Tampa Theme Park are King’s Tut’s Tomb where little tiny tots can enjoy digging for finding buried treasures. While at the Land of the Dragons, there are numerous rides that are for the tiny tots. Several rides. The Serengeti Railway at Busch Gardens Tampa is a great way to take the sights and the sounds of the Serengeti Plains that has been recreated here. The train itself is a replica of how trains looked way back in 1900’s in Africa.
