Cedar Point at Sandusky is open from 10 in the morning till 10 in the evening and during the month of July and some weekends in August is open for extended hours. Highest number of roller coasters

There are 17 roller coasters in this Ohio Park more than any other theme park in the country. 3 of these roller coasters are top world-class roller coasters. The Blue Streak roller coaster is 45 years old and is still as popular as ever. While the Corkscrew is a triple looping coaster that was the first coaster in the world to feature 3 loops.

There are three fully automated carousels that operate at Cedar Point. At the “Cedars Downs racing Derby”, there are 64 horses that go back and front providing a racing derby effect.  At the “Kiddy Kingdom Carousel”, along with horses, bears, rabbits, ostrich, lions, tigers and chariots can be found. Another popular carousel is “Midway Carousel”.

Fun rides

Some of the fun rides and activities for children include “Flying Ace Balloon Race” where kids and their parents can have fun. In “Snoopy’s Deep Sea Divers”, kids can fun in this crazy submarine. Ride on the “Snoopy’s Express Railroad”.

Water rides

At “Soak City”, the water park visitors should enjoy the pool where they can set up their own cabanas and laze in the water. At the water slides in the theme park, many of the slides have long curves including ‘S’ curves and angled dips meant to provide maximum fun to the visitors. At “Zume Flume” guests will be hurled down a chute aboard a raft that has many unexpected turns and drops. The “Breakers Bay” is a 500,000-gallon wave pool where the waves are about 3 – 4 foot high. You can bodysurf or just lounge around the pool.
