Opening times and seasons

Hersheypark theme park is open during the summer months and for extended hours during July and August. Its open from 10 AM to 10 PM. On a few weekends during these months it’s even open till 11 PM in the night. It’s closed during January, February and March. There are several ticketing options for during Springtime, Halloween and Christmas. Visitors can also avail of several discount packages.

Entertainment events

Hersheypark theme park tickets are differently priced during the concerts. Concerts are held at Hersheypark Stadium, Star Pavilion, Giant Centre and Hersey Theatre. The tickets for the Hershey Theme Park are valid for other shows such as the award winning “Beyond the Dragon Gate” that tells the story of “Beauty and the Beast”, “Strolling bands” where 4 performers keep the crowds entertained as they cruise along the boardwalk.  Other entertainment options include special “Special events” such as “4th July fireworks”, and “Calder Cup Championship Trophy’.

Rides for everyone

Enjoy the various coasters at the Hersheypark that include “Fahrenheit”, which is amongst the most popular. Ride “Wild Mouse” which is categorized as aggressive thrill ride. While “Trail Blazer” is a moderate thrill ride but immensely popular with families. All coaster rides have minimum height requirements.

The “Kiddie Rides” for little children include “Bayside Pier” which has a kid’s section too. Most of the rides at for the kids allow kids that are below 36”. At the “Dinosaur-Go-Around”, kids go aboard dinosaur as they go around a lit volcano. At the “Frog Hopper” kids are lifted vertically up while being strapped in their seats.

The “water Rides” at the Hersheypark include “Coastline Plunge” where riders on a raft go through a dark tunnel before they are thrown down the bottom of the tunnel. While at the “Tidal Force”, which is rated as one of the tallest splash down water rides, visitors can have the maximum fun. At the theme park there are also a number of dining and shopping options to choose from.
