Animal attractions at the theme park
SeaWorld Gold Coast is one of the most popular Australian theme parks. There are a number of animal attractions at this theme park. At the ‘Shark Bay’ that is the world’s largest man made lagoon, it allows visitors to come face to face with the inhabitants of the water world.
Visit the ‘Polar bear Shores’ where the polar bears Hudson and Nelson are housed in their environment. Other animal attractions include the “Dolphin Nursery Pool’ that has one of the most successful breeding programs and guests can also see young dolphins as well as the more mature dolphins.
The SeaWorld Gold Coast theme park tickets also feature a number of rides and attractions along with marine attractions. These include ‘Jet Rescue’ that is roller coaster ride. Ride the “Viking’s Revenge” where the visitors go down a 450 metre floating ride before they finally splash down in the pool.
You can also ride the “SeaWorld Mono rail” that will take you along the scenic trip of the theme park. You could also take the “Sky High Sky Way” that are essentially gondolas in the sky that travel along a skyway and let visitors have a bird’s eye view of the theme park. This is an excellent way to see many attractions such as Polar Bear Shores, cartoon beach and many more.
Water Park
At the “Water Park” , rides and attractions have been designed keeping all age groups in mind. Tickets for the SeaWorld Gold Coast theme park can be upgraded to include a visit to the “Water Park” too. Families can also hire cabanas that include a number of refreshments, Pay TV, lounge chairs, waiter service and more services. Though currently the water park has been closed till 18th September 2009.
The “Dolphin Show”
The “Dolphin Show” known as “Imagine” shows the dolphins jumping and dancing and performing a number of acrobatic tricks to the tune of beautiful music. It’s an entertaining and an educational show. 2500 people can watch the show where the dolphins interact with their trainers.
