Plenty of rides and shows at Six Flags Magic Mountain will keep the entire family entertained

 The Six Flags Magic Mountain has 16 roller coaster rides and even includes the new Terminator Salvation: The Ride. Once you have experienced this ride, you will surely think that you are in the movie. Keeping in mind the whole family, the rides can be divided into three basic categories. The park is spread over 240 acres and has a number of really exciting roller coaster rides that are world famous. It has over 100 games, rides and attractions.

Thrill rides
There are 15 rides in these categories and have height restrictions. All these rides are for those above 48” height. One of the popular thrill rides is Terminator Salvation. 

Family Rides
At Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park, there are a number of rides where children and their moms and dads can enjoy together. The minimum height requirement for all rides is 33” and some of rides only allow children with adults. Some of the most popular ones are Grinder Gearworks, Jet Stream, Tidal Wave and many more.

Kids Rides
The Kids Rides at Six Flags Magic Mountain are meant for little kids. The rides spin and fly  and will also take children through many magical moments just apt for their age. In fact they are very safe for children to ride without adults and have no minimum height requirements. There are 10 rides that the children can enjoy.

Show and concerts

A number of shows and concerts have been lined up during 2009 and entry to these is free with the season Pass or Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park tickets. The Concert Line-up at the park consists of several concerts through 2009 such as Firestorm Relief benefit Concert. The theme park also holds a gala festival every year on 4th of July. In its 38th year of existence, it will feature many entertainment events such as Country Rock & Blues Bands and a spectacular 4th July laser show that is going to be held in Valencia Falls.
