Enjoy the fun rides at the water parks especially the water rides at the Water Park. The water park is spread over 12 acres and features a 560,000-gallon wave pool and a number of water slides as well as separate area for the children.
Hurricane harbor, Water Park
The water park is known as “Hurricane Harbor” and is open from May 23rd to September 7th. Some of the rides also have height restrictions. Some of the most popular rides include the “Big Kahuna” where you will be thrust down a water slide that meanders like snake on a raft with 4 of your friends. The recently opened “ Wahoo Racer” has six lanes of water slides (side by side), where you can race with others as you are thrust down on your mat head long at almost 35 mph for 262 feet.
Events and shows
Other events at the park include the “Starburst Summer Concert Series” that feature musicians like Jesse McCartney, Metro Station, Gym Class Heroes and many more that are included in the Six Flags St. Louis Theme Park tickets. There are charges for the concerts. However there are several other shows by “David Crowder Band” along with “TobyMac” and “Mercy Me” are charged extra.
Other shows are included in the cost of the ticket are “Bugs Bunny & Friends” where visitors get to meet their favorite cartoons and click photos with them. There are “Casting Auditions” also at the theme park for all aspiring musicians, comedians and those that have a lot of talent.
Rides and attractions
Some of the rides where you can serious fun are the thrill rides. “Mr Freeze” is roller coaster ride that has 1382 feet of track and goes up to speeds of 70 mph while been powered by an electromagnetic field. You can also try their other roller coaster ride known as “Screamin Eagle” where you can tear down on the wooden roller coaster ride (a previous Guinness World record holder).
At this Missouri theme park, the kids get to have their own rides and even a play area at the Hurricane harbor.
