The Simpsons Ride

The famous ride is located at Universal Studio Hollywood and which is just like animated television series and was opened on May 19, 2008. It is the place, where official ceremony also takes place. The six minutes long ride uses computer generated 3D animation and it is the Blur Studio and Reel FX that provided the technology. Apart from this it also uses 2 D technology, which is provided by Film Roman. State of the art technology is also used by the ride that includes new hydraulics and new projection system. It also offers pre-show video that can be seen in the queue and the video highlights the original footage of ride.
Ride will entertain you for six minutes but this is not the place for those, who are suffering form claustrophobia, heart, motion sickness, and some other such diseases. The Simpson ride uses Sony Projectors and 80-foot IMAX screens with 24 ride cars each having seating capacity of eight people. With a high quality of resolution system, the projection system includes some latest digital technology and plays at a rate of 60 frames per second unlike common projector, plays at a rate of 24 frames per second. The sound system is Dolby 6.1 surround sound and 12 speakers installed in each riding car and the technology used here is so advanced that reduces more and more energy consumption.
Pamela Hayden, Russi Taylor, and Kelsey Grammer are regular cast members here in the ride.
