Universal’s Islands of Adventure is an incredible theme park where you can journey through 5 varied islands for a new adventure, ride and thrills. The five separate islands are known as Suess Landing,

The Lost Continent, Jurassic Park, Toon Lagoon and Marvel SuperHero Island. In 2010, Harry Potter Theme Park is scheduled to open inside the Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme park, which will feature its most popular adventures.

The Amazing Adventures of Spider Man is a moving 3-D simulation ride that both adults and children can enjoy. Ride the Incredible Hulk Coaster where you go from 0 to 40mph in just 2 seconds. Experience Doctor Doom’s that throws you up 150 feet in the air and then throws you down faster than gravity itself. The Storm Force Accelerator is a thrill ride.

Also enjoy the Jurassic Park River Adventure, where you take a raft ride and see the dinosaurs in their natural habitat. The Pteranodon’s Flyers is a hanging coater ride that will take you very smoothly over the Islands of Adventure.

Have fun at Poseidon’s Fury which is an interactive show that uses at least 4 types lasers and more than 200 types of fire effects. Water effects use water cannons, mist screens and walk through water vortex.

The high speed roller coasters include “The Incredible Hulk Coaster” that has been voted as among the top 10 roller coasters in the country.

Lots of fun for the smaller children as well

At this Orlando theme park, there’s a lot to do for smaller children also such as the Suess Trolley Train Ride, Camp Jurassic, If I Ran the Zoo and many more. For young children many of the rides don’t have any height requirements. But many of the attractions have height restrictions.
