When this theme park was built then Flevohof was the owner but for including modern rides and shows it became bankruptcy so they had to sell this theme park and then Walibi Group became the owner of this Lelystad theme park in 1993. But in 1998 it also sold to the Premier Parks LTD and they made huge change of the rides, shows and other attractions and they included at least thirty new attractions with the theme park. It is no longer said as the Walibi World its new name is Six Flag Holland which one is given by the new owner of the theme park. The park got his real name back in 2006 when it was resold. Since then it was under control of the new owner of the park the Grevin & Cie group of France.

It has the exclusive theme lands named the Looney Tunes and has the most powerful roller coaster named the Superman and this are the best attractions of the Walibi World Theme Park of Holland. Some special features of theme park were first introduced in this park and the Goliath was the first hyper-coaster of the Europe.

Now it can be found to other popular theme parks of Europe. The La Via Volta is one of the most popular attractions of the theme park but now the train is removed because it has gotten old and now you can heard some rumor that the train can be replaced by a new train in the let 2009.
